Notice of Election of Officers for 2012/2013
In accordance with Article 1 Section 1 of the Club Bylaws, I invite nominations by members of the Club for President 2012/2013 and for President 2013/14 and the following officers and directors for 2012/13: Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sgt-at-arms and up to 7 directors.
In accordance with the Bylaws, nominations may be presented by a nominating committee or by nominations from the floor, by either or by both, as the Club may determine. I propose that nominations may be presented by both, and that the nominating committee comprise 5 members, of whom one is the President.
This requires a decision of the Club, and I move that the Club agree that nominations may be presented by both a nominating committee and by nominations from the floor, and that the nominating committee comprise 5 members, of whom one is the President.
If approved, I call for nominations for 4 members of the nominating committee, to close with the Secretary Monday 31/10/11 at 1.15 PM.
The election of officers must be held before 31 December 2011 under Article IV Section 1 of the Bylaws, and notice is hereby given that the election of officers will be held at a special general meeting to coincide with the regular meeting of the Club on Monday 5 December 2011.
