CLUB FUTURE GOALS
Jul 14, 2025 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

As we embark on a new Rotary year, this meeting will include a look back at our 2024–25 Club Goals in Rotary Club Central—what we set out to do, what we’ve achieved, and what we’ve learned along the way.

We’ll also be turning our attention forward. With Dan Adler as Club President from 1 July, we’ll take time to discuss and shape the goals for 2025–26. Rotarians can always log into Rotary Club Central to review our Club Goals and track progress.

This is a great chance for all members to have input into the direction of the club for the coming year—whether it’s around service projects, membership, fundraising, or how we show up in the community.

The Rotary Club of Brisbane meets on Monday evenings for 45-minutes, held in person and also accessible via Zoom. After the meeting, members and guests attending in person are welcome to stay and enjoy a meal together, time permitting.

October Volunteering Opportunity: Supporting South Brisbane Rotary’s Kid's Picnic

Jul 28, 2025 6:00 PM

Since 1947, the Rotary Club of South Brisbane has been running a remarkable community event. This long-standing initiative offers a day out for children and carers facing significant life challenges, providing fun, friendship, and a sense of community.

This October, the Rotary Club of Brisbane will be stepping in to support this event as volunteers—part of our commitment to community service and to standing alongside our fellow clubs in shared purpose. It’s also a chance to reconnect with a club we’re historically tied to—South Brisbane Rotary was originally chartered by our club.

To give us a full picture of this legacy and the logistics of the picnic, John Paskin from South Brisbane Rotary will join us as guest speaker on Monday 28 July. His visit will offer insight into how this tradition has evolved, what it takes to run it, and how we can be part of it.

For newer members especially, this is a great opportunity to:

  • See how other Rotary clubs are making an impact

  • Learn about inter-club collaboration and shared projects

  • Get involved in hands-on community service

Let’s show our support and get behind a fellow club continuing a decades-old Rotary tradition.

🫶 Sunday. VOLUNTEER Bushcare Working Bee Ashgrove
Aug 03, 2025 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Join Us for Our August Volunteer Day with Habitat Brisbane!

Are you looking for a way to connect with fellow Rotarians and give back to the community in a hands-on, meaningful way? We’ve got just the opportunity for you!

This month, the Rotary Club of Brisbane will be rolling up our sleeves and teaming up with Brisbane City Council’s Habitat Brisbane program—a celebrated community bushcare initiative. This program empowers local volunteers to preserve and rejuvenate our city’s bushland, wetlands, parks, and waterways.

What We’ll Be Doing:

  • Removing invasive weeds

  • Planting native flora

  • Mulching and improving soil health

  • Participating in flora and fauna surveys

  • Helping protect the biodiversity of our beautiful local habitats

There are over 150 bushcare groups supported by this initiative, and we’re proud to be stepping into the fold. It’s a brilliant way to meet like-minded locals, enjoy the outdoors, and make a visible difference in our urban environment.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just enjoy fresh air and community spirit, this is a rewarding way to live Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self. It’s also the kind of grassroots involvement that many new members tell us they’re looking for—real community impact and real connection.

All materials will be provided—just bring a hat, sunscreen, gloves, and your enthusiasm!

Let us know you're coming via the volunteer registration tab so we can coordinate numbers and gear.

Let’s make Brisbane greener together!
