The Salvation Army Emergency Services operates a fleet of emergency services catering trailers which are stationed across Queensland to provide rapid response in case of natural disasters and other emergencies. Typically one or more of these trailers can be at the disaster site to provide food for relief workers and local residents in a few hours. On average the Salvation Army Emergency Services attend an emergency at least once every day of the year. In 2017, The Rotary Club of Brisbane funded a replacement catering trailer to the tune of $30,000 to help the Salvos help people in need.
